Feb 2, 2022 · IMHO., part of the buzz in owning a firearm is to shoot it and determine if it functions properly and can hit point of aim. This SKS is not a $15k - $30k collector firearm. Shooting it has no real affect on value. Removing the cosmoline to enable bare hands use and handling is fine.
